Americano Cocktail Recipe

Americano Recipe

Americano is a classic drink with a lot of freshness and a slight bitterness. The drink originates from another drink named Milano-Torino and has a history that stretches back to the 1860s. It is said that the Americano was created when American tourists wanted their Milano-Torino slightly less spirit-forward, which made the bartenders start to add club soda. According to legend, Americano is also said to have been the precursor to the now well-known drink Negroni . It is said that Count Camillo Negroni ordered an "Americano with gin".
