Gingerbread Flip Recipe
Gingerbread flip is a nice and creamy drink with a taste of gingerbread cookies. The drink is easy to make and is perfect as a Christmas cocktail. In this recipe, dark rum is used as a base spirit, but it can be replaced with whatever spirit you like the most.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Dark rum
- 25 ml Gingerbread syrup
- 1 Egg
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions
- Start by making the syrup. See the recipe for gingerbread syrup here.
- Pour rum, gingerbread syrup, a whole egg (including the yolk) and a few dashes of Angostura Bitters into a shaker.
- Shake the shaker well without ice to build up a fluffy and creamy texture.
- Add ice and shake the drink cold.
- Strain into a glass and garnish with grated nutmeg.
