Gingerbread Sour Recipe
Gingerbread Sour is a Christmas riff on a classic whiskey sour. By adding gingerbread spices to the sugar syrup, you get a spicier drink that is reminiscent of gingerbread dough.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Bourbon whiskey
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 30 ml Gingerbread syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 20 ml Egg white
Instructions
- Make gingerbread syrup. See recipe here.
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker.
- Dry shake the shaker (without ice).
- Add ice and shake again.
- Strain into a glass.
- Garnish with grated nutmeg.
