Hemingway Daiquiri Recipe
Hemingway Daiquiri, also called Papa Doble or Hemingway Special, is a tasty and slightly sour cocktail. It has its origins at the Havana bar La Floridita where Ernest Hemingway is said to have ordered a regular Daiquiri, but then commented that he prefers the drink without sugar and with twice as much rum. Since that event, the recipe has been adjusted and here you will find our variant that we ourselves think has a good balance between all flavors.
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice.
- Shake until cold.
- Strain into a glass and drop a maraschino cherry into the glass.
